Our group is involved in research to improve Stroke and Aphasia services in Sheffield.

We aim to:

• • Make sure that patient and carer’s voices are heard

  • Share our experiences with researchers

  • Identify research topics that are important to patients

  • Improve recruitment to research studies

  • Build trust in clinical research

  • Break down barriers to involvement

  • Comment on research project documents

  • Help write lay summaries
